| I was doing some NDT (NonDestructive Testing) refresher training for my Co. and noticed one of the examples was a set of automotive heads being Magnufluxed. The official term is "Wet flourescent magnetic particle inspection", used to look for indications or defects, or the dirty word "cracks"! Which could leave you at the track with a ruined engine, lots of $$$$ down the drain and lost time to say the least. The only equipment I don't have is a blacklight, so I would have to "borrow" one from the shop Just give me a heads up if there's a need. | |
