| Hey guys, I've found a new toy I want and in order to get it I gotta get rid of the Caprice. What information other than my profile would you guys need to give me a fair asking price. I'm a bit to attached to it to come up with something fair. I probably think its worth way more than it is. Most of you guys have seen it and know what I've done to it. I'm hopefully going to put it on CL this coming week and on the website here, and I'll definitely knock some $$ off of the asking price for a club member, knowing that it will be loved and enjoyed. | |

| I know I can't put a price on someone else's ride. That's kinda rude IMO. I've literally been told that mine is a $2,500 car because it's "just a Caprice" even tho I paid $6k for it.
I know the saying, "you never get your money back from a (these) cars" and what you want vs what people will pay never match up. B bodies are wishy-washy as far as private sales these days, I feel.
What I CAN tell you is, whatever the buyer pays, they'll be getting an awesome deal. Obviously I know and have seen the car many times. Definitely a cool ride with a cool attitude. GLWS

| Tough to say. I have not personally seen the car, though I know you have a lot into it. If I had any extra dough I would grab it and only make one mod; Throw a set of 94 SS 1/4 windows in it, and have a sweet white SS... Yah baby!
The low mileage is great. At this age the single biggest money loss is rust, so how does it look? KBB and other websites wont give an accurate representation. I think it's the kind of thing that you list it at what you'd REALLY like to get for it and move down from there until you find a buyer.

| So I put the car on CL. We'll see how it goes. If any of you guys in the club are interested or know someone looking please send them my way. If it sells ,great, if it doesn't I'll just keep driving her. http://nh.craigslist.org/cto/5559898056.html | |

| Looks like it is priced fairly to me Rob. I know the car and how you take care of it, plus low miles.
Good Luck

| That's a great price, if I had that kind of cash right now I would take it off your hands.
That said, I hate to see it go!

| Car has been sold..Local guy, from Revere, MA, really nice. Seemed really stoked about the car. Its been alot of fun. I hope he enjoys it as much as I have. I'm sure he'll be poking around here and hopefully join the club. I'll pop in at some point when I find a new ride. Later guys, thanks for the good times | |
