Very cool! Once you can weld, you're kind of a one man band. Self sufficiency AND you get to make a lot of sparks! Practice practice practice. (Assuming it's your first. I'm still learning)

Well between my wife and I we have 7 kids. And they have beater cars, well most of them do. And 2 that don't have cars yet. So between the exhaust jobs and fixing floor pans and whatnot. I figured it was time to invest in one. And I pretty much stole it at $400, with an auto darkening helmet, 1/2 tank of gas and a full spool of wire Arrow

So I finally got some free time to start playing around  with the mig. After an hour of playing, welding shit together, fixing a spot on my exhaust....I said to myself, man you suck at this...you need way more practice. So as I was picking up and putting stuff away I noticed that I didn't have the gas turned on........... New Toy  729710685  Note to self...turn the gas on first. Maybe less beer would help....nah...
