| I start in the morning. The guy called me while I was in another interveiw. I finished up that interveiw, drove home, changed into appropriate atire and drove down for an interveiw and got hired on the spot. http://www.kia.com/ I just have to sell three a month to make what I made plumbing. This takes a big weight off my shoulders. I would have gone to work for Dover Chevrolet, as I have a great repore with most everyone there and had they had an opening I was next to get hired. But I could not wait. Kia has a great warranty and I figure the warranty is a huge selling point. And I love helping friends and family buy cars anyways, so I will apply that enthusiasm to making money. I already have a new Kia Forte coupe sold. |

| That is great news!
Push the warranty and the economic value of the car and features that it has for the price. I owned a 2001 Hyundai Sonota and to be honest with you I was quite impressed for the options I got for the price of the car, comprable to the Accord and Camry for sure only for half the price.

| Kia and Hyundia seem to really be on top of their games lately. Hopefully it'll be the easiest job you ever had. Course being over 4' tall I'd never be able to fit in one, but I'll let people know to hit you up when they want a new car. | |

| SWEET! Congrats dude, I have no doubt you can sell 3 of those a month, you know cars and it shows, so you should be an easy salesman to trust, not like some of the slicked up bastards I have dealt with in the past.

| Congrats. Just remember what you hated most about a pushy salesman & do the opposite. When you decide what approach your going to use, let us know & we can kick the crap out of you until you have all the angles covered Seriously Bill good luck | |

Not yet I have been training. I have two days off then I start selling saturday. One guy was showing me check stubs. He makes 4 times what I made with plumbing. |

| The money is there to be made; just don't expect it all at once. Unfortunately it usually takes time to earn stubs like that guy.
Perseverance and hard work is what it takes; that's what I wasn't willing to put in and why I failed at Kirby.

William McKay, 1988 You got that right. You'll be way ahead of the pack in no time. It always amazed me how little some salesmen knew about thier product. I'm guessing with you & cars, that shouldnt be an issue

| That job did not last long.
Long story short. I walked out afer being told it was my job to lie to people.
I guess I figured I could be honest and sell cars, but the management did not see it that way.
Not to mention it is hard to sell new kias if there are only ten total, and they have no idea when they would be getting any. And with the cash for clunkers program, I could have sold 3 Kia souls, if they had any.
Not to mention the management took half the money on a deal I did just because they transfered the call to me. WTF.
5 days wasted
60 hours spent
Making under $250..........Pointless! |

Anything to keep them there and process them further along to the final purchase. I kinda assumed that those kind of tactics went by the wayside along with plaid suits. I won't be a part of that. |
