Wagon class 3/4 hitch Empty
PostSubject: Wagon class 3/4 hitch   Wagon class 3/4 hitch EmptyWed Sep 17, 2014 12:35 pm

I have a hitch I recently bought in a group buy from a fabricator on the longroof forum. This hitch was designed to handle over 7k pounds of trailer weight. The designer of the hitch made it to fit with LT1 dual exhaust. Upon fitting the hitch to my OCC, I discovered TBI single exhaust exits differently than the LT1 passenger side pipe, and the hitch hits the pipe. Well the fabricator said he is going to build me a modified version to fit around my exhaust. I paid $170 for the hitch so I'd like to get that back out of it. It's still wrapped in the plastic from shipping. Note it was powdercoated after it was built but the powdercoater didn't coat the inside of the hitch tube, and there is also some chips from shipping. However this is still a screaming deal for a wagon hitch. You will also need four Grade 8 3/4" bolts, nuts and washers to mount the hitch to the car.

Picture before shipping, I have not completely unwrapped mine yet.

I do, and now that I'm gainfully employed....

I also shouldn't have a clearance issue as my exhaust exits closer to the tires than it does on a stock TBI.
