PostSubject: For sale 96 Roadmaster sedan 88k miles   Tue Sep 02, 2014 3:01 pm

Was hit very hard in the rear. It's a triple dark blue limited. Almost every option. I had a cheap fix done (green trunk lid that almost looks dark blue from 20 feet away haha), tbi style tail lights, and half of the rear passenger quarter is made from fiberglass. I've had the car since 2011 and the accident happend in the first month when the car had 49k miles. I've driven the car 40k miles since. It now has just shy of 90k but it looks like 900k. It had a new opti and pump last year. Runs and drives fine. You wouldn't know it was wrecked driving it. Perfect winter beater. Almost no rust at all. Barely any surface rust underneath even.

Will need tires (badly), a battery, and possibly an egr tube or coil. Little hard to start sometimes (always starts just turns a few times before it does sometimes) and every once in a while idles rough. It's been that way for 2 years. Thought the opti and leaking pump were the culprit but not so. I also replaced the egr valve and plugs. I think it just needs a good battery but if not it has to be wires, the coil, or the egr tube from what I read. I've replaced everything else.

900 obo she doesn't look like much but with under 90k and no rust it doesn't get much better for a beater. Drivers heated seat, trunk pull down and 2 windows fall of the track. Otherwise everything works.

Again 900 or offers.

Car is in Acton if you'd like to see it.

Car heaven in Berlin MA will give me 400 for the car and pick it up. So if someone buys it its like buying it for 500 haha. Anyways I'm sure it's worth more than 400 to someone on here.

508-7695080 Jack feel free to call or text.

Are you saying you'd sell it for $500?

Not what I was saying hahaha but if that's the best anyone offers it's better than the 400 the junkyard offered lol. I really feel like it's worth more. Idk how about 600? Even if you only drive it for a year and you live near Berlin MA it's only going to cost 200 (because they will give 400). I just feel dumb junking it because it drives fine and hasn't ever let me down. The only reason I am is because it's an eyesore and I havnt driven it in a while.

Called the junk yard to come pick it up. They want to on sat between 10-11am.

Anyone want it for 500? Bring a battery, a plate and 4 Wheels with decent tires and drive it away.

Car heaven in Berlin Ma will give you 400 for it. Good if someone needs some spare parts.

I doubted anyone would want the blown brougham. But I'm shocked no one wants this.

I would be all over that fleetwood but I have no room to put it and I'm trying to get out of the hobby.
Sucks to see a fleetwood go to the crusher.

Seriously no one needs an RMS clip for a roady wagon??

Just came back from Car Heaven in Berlin. Bought the CD radio & heater/AC climate control. Do these function correctly? To bad about the 1/4 panel. Its not too rusty for a NE car.

One more question. How is the transmission in this car? I've got a 95 & 96 Roadmaster sedan. Wouldn't be a bad idea to have a backup transmission. From what I understand if these cars have a weak link its the transmission. I would have bought this car from you but I only have space for parts of a car. No more space in my driveway.

Those assholes told me 2 months ago they won't sell parts wtf. Yup it's all good. The Trans is good as gold..... But who knows for how long. I was sad to see it go. 81k miles and it ran just fine.... Can't believe no one bought it. Such a shame....

Sorry just bad timing for me, buying a house so my budget is up in the air at this time. If only it was a month later...

Oh and it was from south jersey. I was the 2nd owner and any rust that's there came on while I owned it.

You should see the 94 I just picked up in CT. It's underside is as clean as the cleanest impala ss on eBay. Even the trunk straps are like brand new it's insane. The seats are so nice you'd swear they've never been sat in. Cleanest bbody I've ever seen in person. 43k miles. It's going to sell faster than the last one which took 3 days lol

They won't sell parts to the public. I know a friend of the owner. If it wasn't for this guy I couldn't get in. There's not much in there anyway. I've seen pictures of your 94 Roadmaster. Very nice! I'm thinking of getting the exhaust off the 96 Roadmaster as well.

Pretty sure it's leak free. Are you referring to the burgundy 96 (that gets no action for some reason) or the two tone 94?

Two tone 94. I think I saw it on this forum. I would think the 94 would do very well on eBay. There's a 94 on eBay with no options as in absolutely NO OPTIONs and its over $7500 last I checked. Is it me or are Roadmaster sedans reaching wagon money.

No worries. There is no guarantee I could afford it in a month anyways!
