| Hey folks, been looking for a different looking set of valve covers and came across a sweet set from canton racing, they say F and Y body but I'd really love to put them on the Cadillac. Does anybody know if the valve covers are different? Will these fit without any modification? Heres the link to anyone interested http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ctr-65-208?seid=srese1&gclid=CKbRxt7Izb4CFc1QOgodkR8AXA | |

| They should fit "physically".. However you need to take into consideration the alternator placement on the caddy. When I did tall covers on my lt1 caddy I had to relocate the alternator to another place. I believe f and y body lt1 have the alt on the opposite side mounted different. | |

| It looks like those will fit. See how one of the covers has the front of it notched a 1/2" or so? That's how they fit the B and D cars. But... I have never seen those in person. I'm just going by the pic.
I have aluminum valve covers that I got off ebay a few years ago for like 80 bucks... Lemme do a quick search...
Yeah, these: http://www.ebay.com/itm/Small-Block-Chevy-1993-97-LT1-Aluminum-Valve-Covers-350-Polished-SBC-Hot-Rat-Rod-/350992475666?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item51b8c82612&vxp=mtr

| Check out how insanely badass/beefy these things look, overkill but should look good on the fleetwood before I go to my blue conduit anonymous rehab haha http://farm3.static.flickr.com/2211/2247510355_2953a9c1d9_b.jpg | |

| Indy, those covers look BADASS!!! I call dibs for when you "get tired of these cars and have to get out of the game for good" again... (or tell me where you got them! ) And those canton covers definately have the racecar look. Not sure I like them, but they're pretty badass in their own rite. I'd wonder about heater core clearance with them. Maybe you'd have the best luck of them clearing with the firewall being further back on the 'wood... | |

| I got them a while back on eBay., they are super tall for roller rockers. I had to relocate the alt to the bottom of the engine on the lt1 I had them on.
I'm hoping they clear the damn wiper motor!!! | |

| F body LT1 alternators are on the same side as B bodies. I think the accessories are slighty closer to the block. Could be it's a litte further out. Lots of photos here: http://shbox.com/ | |

| I just bought a couple parts off a guy who had a 383 from Golen Engines swapped into his SS and a bunch of other mods. He was showing me all kinds of stuff he was saving/had laying around, and one item(s) was a set of those welded aluminum valve covers...he had them powdercoated this cool blue color that was over silver giving it this pearl effect, he spent a ton of money on them...went to install them, they didn't fit the engine! | |

| Then those originally posted valve covers are for corvette only. Because the notch is on the drivers cover. You could always run a vette accessory bracket, but BIG $$ I'm sure | |
