PostSubject: SS wheels/caps/tires   Mon May 26, 2014 3:46 pm

I don't really want to but in order to help fund a trans replacement on my car I'm kinda looking to sell my extra set of SS wheels and tires.

All 4 wheels are about a 6.5 to a 7 in condition.  Not excessively curbed all over or terrible looking (I can't actually remember if any are curbed at all), but each wheel does have some clearcoat issues here and there.  2 of them were redone by RimPro in the past so they are glossy but both of those have some clear bubbles.  All of the caps are pretty nice.

2 of these wheels were on the SS when I got it, and they wear the General Grabber UHP tires.  255/50/17.  The tires are excellent in terms of both aging and tread depth.  Not cracked and I'd say they have 85-90% tread on them.  They were excellent tires in the rain and everything.  I'm only selling them because I purchased brand new Nittos for the front of my car, so I'll have to get a pair of those eventually.

The other 2, which were redone in the past, have Riken Raptors on them.  255/50/17 also. The tires are kinda worn and not in the best of shape as far as I'm concerned.  Not bald but they have some age cracking and like 20-30 percent tread. They might have some life left in them, it's your call.  They are also going the same direction as far as the directional tread so they'd have to go on one side of the car.  Laughing

I put the other 2 Raptors and those wheels on the back of my car for now since I'm not driving it at the moment, and they'll get replaced anyway (probably going to run my Rally wheels again for a while when it's fixed).

Overall a pretty nice looking set of SS wheels.  I'd like to see 500 bucks out of everything. If that's too much for you, well, you don't have to buy them.  Smile

Let me know if you're interested.

I have to take some better pics, but figured I'd post these for now.

This is probably the "worst" wheel
