Subject: Jerry's sequentials group purchase Thu Mar 27, 2014 9:16 pm
Hey guys. I talked to Jerry about offering a group purchase on his kit. He wasn't going to be doing one until 2015, but said if I can get at least 10 interested, he will do $145 shipped like last time.
Wow. I'm surprised nobody was interested in this. Just got an email that my kit just shipped. I got 13 initial buyers totalling 14 kits. Jerry was very pleased and I'm glad I was able to set this up.
That looks like a good kit. But can you program it? Front and rear signals? Set back to stock for trailer towing? Etc etc.
It doesnt do the fronts and it's not customizable like Jerry's kit. The only things I can change are to turn off the brake light explosion, and I think they can be disabled with a switch I didn't bother hooking up. The flash rate is self programmed based on how long the flasher activates the lights. These were under $100.
Sweet score tho! Can't beat sequentials that actually work, under 100 bones. I tried the Streetrends kit, aaaand it was crap. Everything was done properly but the modules overheated instantly. Then I realized they sent me an LED kit NOT a standard bulb kit like I ordered. So, I ordered the LED bulbs they sell...absolute garbage! They either didn't work out of the pkg or the bulb would twist and break away from the socket. SMH.

I want to do sequentials some day- out of curiosity, what do you mean by this kit not doing the fronts? The front lights don't flash at all, or is there something that Jerry's kit does with the fronts that creates some effect?
Either way both setups seem cool and it looks awesome
You can program the fronts separate from the rears both in turn signal mode and hazard mode. There's also a "show mode". You don't need that stuff, but its cool to have. Jerry's kit is very comprehensive both in programming instructions and online PDF install instructions. This kit is professionally made and has over 10 years of great feedback. Remember, Jerry's kit is specifically for our sedans, since Jerry owns a 96 BBB SS (?). Can't go wrong with $145 shipped. If you think you might want this kit in the future, I'd get one at this price now. I almost bought 2, but 1 is better than none. Email Jerry. I believe he is still honoring the group buy. He posted the proper GP price link in my thread. Page 2 I think.

I'd like to try a GP with Streetrends with the aluminum front bumper support. It doesn't break the bank at "msrp" but maybe they'd do a free shipping GP.
