PostSubject: 94-96 wagon rear seat question   Mon Mar 24, 2014 8:25 pm

I know 91-93 rear seats in a sedan won't properly fit 94-96 sedans. My 96 had a 91-93 rear seat when I bought. Got the proper on from Jim not long ago.

I would assume wagon to wagon is the same issue.

My question is, will a 94-96 wagon second row seat fit a 94-96 Caprice or be modified relatively easy TO fit in one?

I know they have a fold down mechanism and some sort of cover on the back for cargo.

The bottom will snap in, but the back is a no go. The wagon bottom is not all that comfortable, pretty flat.

That's what I was thinking. Plus the wagon rear seat doesn't have the little headrests at the top like a sedan.

That is correct, you really don't want a wagon seat, either piece.

Ok thanks. I don't care either way about it being comfortable. I won't be sitting back there.

Brian

Not 100% sure, but I think the seats from this car will go:  http://hartford.craigslist.org/ptd/4379090866.html

The color probably is TBI blue, but you could SEM it, or grab front and rear seats.

Worth a call anyways.

I know, right? I'd buy the whole thing if I had a way to get it here.

Tom, I think you told me the # for the LAB 94-96 blue sem. I need it again Wink

Medium!

Outside of my wagon is Light, interior is Medium.

It is a perfect match.

Brian, I want to say it's Dark Sapphire, Medium Dark Sapphire, something along those lines? That is, if it's the same internally-named color as the blue interior for my Caprice. I remember seeing that molded into the back of some parts for that car when I had them off, part of the dash or whatever...

8841 Dk Sapphire, I don't have any first hand experience with that color.

If you know the build code color #, vinylpro can match.
