| I was test driving a '95 RMS today and it had a "hitch" in the steering. Right about where you'd have the wheel going straight down the road, if you turned one way or the other, it would seem to get "hung up" and would take a little effort to overcome, then it was smooth for the rest of hte turn. What does that mean? What needs to be fixed? Big project or no? | |

| Wasn't the belt slipping as it was always in the same position, and not as much of a drag as when the belt is slipping.
Don't all Buicks have that steering assist shock? You know, it dawned on me after I posted this, that I get that same thing once in a while in my RMW but not too often. | |

| Caddys, and Roadys have variable assist. Very easy to turn at parking lot speeds, tightens up at higher speeds. Almost sounds like that is what is failing. | |

That does sound like it, my Fleetwood does this a lot, mostly at lower speeds. | |
