Ok so first off I'm not sure if this is actually going to happen or not, I'd like to gather as much info as possible before making a final decision.
Since the '92 has pretty much a whipped engine and a leaking 4l60 trans I've decided to stuff a 350 into her in place of the little L03. I bought a kit so the tv cable will work with the square bore carburetor I'm gonna run so using the automatic would be fairly easy aside from having no TC lockup.
I have a wonderful super t-10 4 speed trans just sitting in the corner. I already have the flywheel, pressure plate, and clutch.
My problem lies with the clutch pedal assembly..
FIRST I do NOT want to run a t56.
Second, If I can get away with it I DONT want a hydraulic clutch setup if I don't have to.
Is it possible to run an old school mechanical clutch pedal linkage on our cars?
I have a complete pedal assembly and all linkage from my old c10 could this be made to work?
Has anyone ever done a mechanical clutch in a 91-96?
