Seems high to me. I would take $4k for my car and it does not look anywhere near that bad.

Seems high to me. I would take $4k for my car and it does not look anywhere near that bad. It depends on location too, but yeah, it's way too much money. FWIW I think if your car were in the Boston area it would be worth more maybe with a detail if it needs it and with a sign tossed on it at the local cah shows. lol That dude should at least clean it up prime the panels, and find a couple wheels for that price. I think he sells/parts out SS's, he probably has a couple wheels.

I got my rear end from him, more than I wanted to pay, but I needed it so I got it had Justin pick it up for me. He's a dickhead too btw. I called him to try and set up a time to get it and he shot it down. "Nope after 5 I'm gone not hanging around to sell this." Ah ok? way to sell parts online! Typical that he won't budge on the price, I wonder what he'd be like trying to sell a rotten 6cyl 68 Camaro. "WORTH A MILLION BUCKS!"

Rebuild. 4l60 and 4l60e not shifting into 3rd is common, clutch burns out. IF the body is super clean it's worth putting a trans into.

| This is more or less identical to the car I learned to drive in (and had for a first car until it was rear ended by a tractor trailer), except mine was a 1980 model with the 6-liter engine... http://worcester.craigslist.org/cto/4436389519.html Might be cool to drop an LS engine in This is another I used to see driving around Malden/Saugus about 15 years ago: http://boston.craigslist.org/nos/cto/4416598540.html | |

| Kingswoods stopped in 1972. It was the Caprice Estate after that I believe. They used to have a Brookwood and Townsman wagon early on in this generation also. | |

That Olds must've been insane- they actually had tail fins on them!

I stopped reading after the first line LOL. That is a super nice car, but I mean, most people who sell those have an "it is what it is" attitude about the engine that's in them. Not talk about it as if it's a 6.2L LS engine. That would be awesome with an LS swap in it. This car is apparently sold, but I think you'll get a kick out of it. I can seriously picture the owner: "Yah, they jus' come out wit a new engine theyah, that aluminum HT fohhty wun hundrit kehd, I gutta get them emblems foah mine so it looks newah..." http://www.ebay.com/itm/1980-Cadillac-Sedan-DeVille-Brougham-SeVille-caprice-lincoln-1977-1985-1979-1978-/111287424435?pt=US_Cars_Trucks&forcerrptr=true&hash=item19e93f55b3&item=111287424435&nma=true&si=5gX9Kb2tnBAsB7UAI%252Blt%252FkCjSNQ%253D&orig_cvip=true&rt=nc&_trksid=p2047675.l2557 The colors reminds me of an old Caramello candy bar wrapper Steel roof too!
