Auger stopped working and I put it in the tent shammy shed and it's been there since.

Works every time NEVER breaks down...... And it was FREE.

My Ariens has been going good this year. I started leaving fuel IN the carb and fuel line, tank full at all times, with a ton of Sta-Bil in the gas. Before, I was running the engine until the carb bowl dried after shutting off the line, but the carb would get condensation and freeze. I think the stabilizer helps clean out the carb constantly while counteracting the ethanol in the fuel.

That's what happened to mine. Down another $60 for a parts snowblower (Ariens 910008). At least $30 of the of the new parts can now go back. I got this snowblower about 15 years ago and it was only 20 years old then.
Let me know if you need any old Airens parts, I can bring them on mod day.

Mine was free like Indy's and it worked AWESOME for the last year and half of this one. I really only use it to make paths around the yard though and to do the walkways. I still love having the parking lots that allow me to "travel to the next one" right past my house, them V plows are fabulous!

Both of my snow blowers are trash picked specials One is a 22" Murray 5hp that I had to replaced just about every part on when I found it (luckily I had a full fledged junk yard at the time). The other is a 28" Cub that I pulled out of the scrap bin at work. My boss had it 2 years, somehow didn't notice the oil plug fell out and seized it. A new chinese shortblock later and all is good. I tried and tried to make a GOOD engine work on it but I'm not a fabricator.

The guy that I got the parts machine has a Yardman for sale. He had two others. He wanted $200 for one of them, I forget which. He said he guarantees them for X days.
My snowblower repair has now turned into a quest! One of the shear pins was twisted and stuck, I had to drill it out.

I dug mine out today, after I plowed the driveway and made a snow bank in front of where it had been stashed, took it apart and found a broken spring that operates the clutch for the auger. New parts should be here in time for spring.

Got quite a bit today. Used the front bumper as a snow plow.
Nothing stops the Buick Roadmaster with studded snows!

I wish mine WORKED! Since the last time I used it, what melted on the auger blades froze. They would not turn at all.
