| Finally find a car I actually LOVE and my job decides to screw me and move an hour more away. I'm eventually going to have a 1.5 hour commute one way. Cannot keep up with a v8 and gas. Looking to sell ASAP. 1995 Black caprice WB4 wagon 216,000 miles on body and engine 10,000 miles on the transmission (just rebuilt) Flowmaster 40 mufflers Grant steering wheel Frame is solid Has typical spare tire well rot Paint is good all except the hood and a few spots on the roof Interior is a 5 out of 10, headliner is peeling at the edges Dash had a couple cracks Has new opti and brand new water pump Just replaced aftermarket hvac blower with a GOOD factory one. Starts up and runs with no issues No engine noises No engine leaks Good for daily or beater, not a show car without some attention. HATE to sell it. $1200 FIRM. | |

| Some small car when I can find something.
I have another "long roof" in the works. But it's all hush hush for now ,
All I have left is the 55 caddy to sell and I'm down to one project "all in" The wife is even talking about selling the 82k mile '93 we have now in favor of another gas saver.

You're not the only one man. I'd really like to have a car that gets 35+ MPG right now. I'm actually considering a certain vehicle you can buy that is still less than 10 years old, very reliable, roomy yet small, that gets that kind of MPG...and that I actually loathed to no end when it came out. That's all I will say. lol

| I bought a Jetta brand NEW in 2001. Special ordered it and it was delivered with 69 miles on the odometer. Had to replace the transmission 2,900 miles later! All kinds of issues while owning it .
NO THANK YOU
Looking for an s-10, cavalier, lumina, or some small Buick. I'd drive an 80's nova or chevette if I could find any cheap. It's just gonna be a commuter for me. Not a family car.

| The one I'm thinking of would not be a Jetta, it's smaller. And uglier. But considered to be very reliable. And I would have to paint classic flames and put some sort of 4 lug slot mags on on it to not feel ghey. Indy, I don't know how you feel about them, but those Geo Prizms are great cars for the purpose you have for them...a friend of mine has two of them amongst his 8 cars. I think Al has good things to say about them as well. Corolla at a cheaper price and it has a bowtie on it lol | |
