| My brother is selling his Roadmaster since he bought that Lincoln Town Car. He doesn't really have any place to keep it and wanted me to post a blurb about it in case anyone was interested. I don't know everything about the car and I don't want to get middle-manned in the sale of some car that doesn't belong to me and have people getting butthurt because something I said wasn't accurate, so if you're interested, I can put you in touch with him to discuss the car. I'll post what I can, but no guarantees, again you need to talk with him- Car is a baretop RMS Limited. Has the older style Limited interior with the "glow-worm" seats. It is a dark metallic silver/gray color, with a gray leather interior. Most of you have seen it as he's taken it to some BADASS events. I think the mileage is around 170K. LT1, has been run on full synthetic since new and my brother did the same. It has a posi rear end with the sway bars, I don't remember what the gear ratio is though. The car has a tow hitch receiver on it, but my brother never towed anything. I plugged the VIN into Compnine once and it was either a 1 of 1 or 1 of 2, something like that. The car was supposedly, as the story goes, special ordered by a GM employee from the Midwest. That person watched the car get built at Arlington and then took it home. From there it was registered back and forth between Indiana and Cape Cod for years (Carfax showed this) before the original owner sold it to a guy in Pocasset. My brother bought it from him. The car was Ziebarted when new and the body is in pretty nice shape, except the original owner screwed splashguards into the rear quarters. That caused some rot in the lower quarter on the D/S, I don't know about the pass. side. I don't think an RMS quarter patch is as hard to find or do as a Caprice one. The undercarriage isn't rusty, it's mostly black, and the rest of the body is nice from what I've seen, has some paint chipping on the hood and a few scratches here and there. New parts I know of are some front end parts, GM Delphi opti from "Thepartsladi" on eBay and other tune up parts, the opti vaccuum harness and stuff was replaced with the opti, shocks, brakes, and a bunch of other stuff. I know he had all four window regulators redone with new rollers and some other parts by a shop recently, I think some new motors put in too. You'll have to ask him as I just don't know everything he's done. Problems I know of- The car needs an exhaust system put on. The guy who had it before my brother had the typical Lou's Custom put on with Flowmaster 40s. The Flowmasters themselves rotted in typical fashion and blew out at the welds. My brother cut them off at work (he's a metal fabricator, lol) for now but didn't get around to fixing that. If you have a catback exhaust from an SS or other B-body it will probably just go right on the car. The tailpipes are still on it if you wanted to play around with those. Needless to say, the car is loud, he was driving it this way for months, to the delight of many a high school kid going "yah kehd". The dome light won't shut off. I think it's the twilight sentinel box behind the kick panel, but who knows. My brother took the fuse out. I think it turns on with the switch but I don't know. The driver's door panel is loose, the lower half should be replaced with another one at least. It might just need some new clips though. The driver's seat has wear and is dingy but the other three look good IIRC. AC doesn't work. The car will need a head unit but the rest of the sound system is in it, my brother is keeping his radio. It has SS wheels on it now, but they aren't included and it will be sold with a set of the original RMS bottle-cap type wheels in good condition with good BSW tires. He has an extra set of the same wheels with tires that could be used for mounting snows I suppose. The car is not perfect and will need some stuff done but it's also not a complete toilet and it runs nice, starts up quick too. If I didn't have the SS, I'd probably just take it myself. It's an interesting B-body for sure, don't see too many around. It should go to someone who appreciates them. He's asking 1500 or b.o. This was at the Roundup last fall. This is from a couple of weeks ago:

Do you expect any less from me? lol Nope! When I saw it was your thread I knew I would be reading something longer than a yahoo news article, but the "blurb" kept it nice and short. Compared to when you write a forsale thread on something YOU own.

| I'm likely buying his SS wheels, the tires are Rikens and they're all cracking, one has a bubble in the sidewall too. I'm gonna take the 2 best ones and get 2 more Nittos at some point, lol.

| If I'm down that way at all, I'll try to get some myself. The undercarriage of the car is really one of it's strong points, the last time I looked a few months ago it was really in nice shape overall, floorpans, etc. | |

| It's too bad you sold the 93. I'm REALLY looking for a TBI B for my wife until she buys an SUV later this year and then, whatever car we buy for the interim, wether its yours bros or not, will then become my DD.
I definitely long for a blue or gray 91/92 tho.

You will have 8 SS wheels at that point. Willing to sell a set of 4?

| Every time I try to get some pictures of the car, it's dark or I can't get down there. The street where the car is located is dug up to put in water pipes and is basically closed and impassable during the day too, lol. I did get these teaser photos while trying not to get eaten alive by mosquitoes: That undercoating is Ziebart and is as old as the car, it's not something that was recently sprayed over. As you can see the screws caused this rust: Pass. side: | |

| Just an update on this car-
I'm going to have my brother write down everything he thinks is wrong and everything he's replaced and I'll put it here. He was cleaning it today when I went down to cut the grass.
I'll try to get some good pictures of it this week, common problem areas and whatnot.

Nope, it's not my car. If a tree falls in the forest, and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? I've figured everything until now is idle talk and general interest in a vehicle owned by someone I know, lol.

Note the date, but I thought you'd get a kick out of it...

Pretty shocking resemblance.
Still no pics of the car! lol
