So, me and Jim were sitting around shooting the breeze, when I had a brilliant idea...

How about 2 stock grand national turbo's on an LT1?

Might be a little snug in there, and require a new hood, be should be cool.

What's the worst that could happen....cherry ??

I was searching for hoods and found this one. Do you think it would work?

I'd prefer one closer to the Sunoco style if it would work. VFN fiberglass has a few more to choose from and other fiberglass goodies too.

I miss the Camaro already, I had to drive the 9C1 to work today.
I don't even want to think about how much a new axle is going to cost.
I hope I can keep the AC, I just fixed it a week ago.

Why not put them down low, out front of the engine someplace? Just pipe forward to the intake box/battery location, then send the down pipes back to meet the exhaust.

No AC with this set up:

I found these steel hood blisters.

I'm thinking up high with two of these blisters would be OK. Don't cut the hood yet! I have another that I can bring over for test/practice.

Camaro headlight thread.

The only BAD puddle I hit in that car was in MA. I actually floated for a second, water came in the doors. I had to wind it up to 60 to skate over the water. Gotta love the flooding!

Your problem with hood clearance for turbo's is rather simple, really all you have to do is " over " think it.rabbit
