Hi guys,
my regular mech can't see me til Monday 8:00 AM
I am taking a shot in the dark asking if anyone can help with getting my '96 LT1
looked at, either by you or your mech ?

I have P0200, P0300, and i think P0304.
CEL was on and was blinking, then went steady on.
This was after 50 or so miles driving in one day.

The next day after driving less than 5 miles the CEL goes off ( no light in dash now)
Today i drove to work and no CEL but i can tell something is off....Here are my symptoms :

the motor feels like it has a skip, i think i can hear it in the pass side exhaust. when i say feel, it's like the whole car shakes/ vibrates a little from i guess misfiring, but not enough to light up the CEL.
this happens at 2000 RPM.
I cruz at like 45 tween 1500 -1750 RPM and motor has better manners but my SOTP says i am low on power/torque....? [arm chair mech here 8-) ]

So work commute does not show the problem as much, as my 13 mile ride up 91 north
after work, cruzing at 2000 RPM at about 70 mph.

I have time off Thurs and Fri this week, as well as weekend possibly.
I say possibly cuz my gramma is dying and at comfort care stage of her illness so this may all end up on the back burner if she passes soon...

TIA guys,
-ALF out....

Those codes indicate an injector malfunction, random misfire and a cyl 4 misfire. First thing to check is the fuel pressure, should be over 40psi. Also check and reseat the connections on the injectors and check the grounds by the coil. The fact that you hear a problem in the passenger exhaust goes with the cyl 4 misfire, could be either the wiring to that injector or the injector itself is failing. If you can, try swapping that injector to the other side of the engine and see if the problem follows it.

P0300 is random misfires, P0304 is cyl #4 misfire.

Sounds like it's time for an LT1 tune-up
