| And here's my last question. The motor is out of a 91 C1500, but its a Goodwrench replacement crate. When selecting headers, do I need to buy ones specifically for the trucks or can I buy ones for the fullsize cars? Or, in other words, do the trucks and cars use the same header port? | |

| ALL SMALL BLOCK CHEVY'S HAVE THE SAME EXHAUST PORT SPACING 1955+ including LT1. You need to pick headers that fit the cars frame. So buy a set for the wagon, doesn't matter what the engine came out of as long as it's a SBC. | |

You need to pick headers that fit the cars frame. So buy a set for the wagon, doesn't matter what the engine came out of as long as it's a SBC. So I have the motor here, finally. Took off one of the exhaust manifolds. Has square port heads. Do I need square port headers or can I use these B-body round ports? http://www.summitracing.com/parts/hed-68600/overview/make/chevrolet/year/1991/model/caprice

| It will be fine. You may have a little overhang over the ports but nothing you would notice on any 350 you plan to build. | |

The gaskets should seal that up though, correct? Planned to get the Percys Seal-4-Good

| Overhang meaning the header flange will hang over the ports a little, for racing purposes or higher performance demand it would cause turbulence, but for a street driven car with a mild build you wouldn't even know the difference.
