Gas tanks, senders, and gauges oh my!! Empty
PostSubject: Gas tanks, senders, and gauges oh my!!   Gas tanks, senders, and gauges oh my!! EmptyMon Jul 22, 2013 12:48 am

Can anyone school me on how tanks/senders and gauges work together?

I understand how b-body sender works and that 0 is empty 90 ohms is full.
What I need to know is if I put a sender and tank from one car into another car that has a different fuel gauge will it still read correct?
Is the gauge sender specific or are ALL GM cars a 0/90 ohm setup so all gauges read empty/full no matter what gauge?
Thanks for reading.
