| I have a few boxy parts I need to get and I will continually add to this thread with what I need. The reason I'm making this thread today, two days before I am away for a week , is because I decided to pull my rear bumper today to paint up the shocks and the inside of the bumper... so of course now I am looking for parts 1. MINT rear bumper support, I will take a GOOD New England one, but I'm tired of dealing with the crumbling aluminum. So if anyone can find a minty one (AHEM Tim ) Please LMK and I will gladly pay a finders/grabbers fee. And if the bumper is good then I'll take that too. 2. Inner fenders, not needed but if they're better than mine I will take them. 3. The bumper rub strips. Specific to 86-90 WITHOUT bumperettes. They are different. If anyone has a lead on NOS or new repops LMK. I wouldn't bother with junk yard ones because honestly they will be cracked up and fall apart upon removal. 4. Core/Rad support, again if it's better than mine I'm interested. Send pics if you have one. Freshly added! 5. If anyone has a third gen dual electric fan setup, upper and lower shroud/mounts included I want that! Not pronto but if someone has one, I would really appreciate knowing and then being able to purchase it. The same setup I wanted to use in this car was IN the red car. Guess what inadvertently got tossed... 6. 5x5 bolt pattern corvette rallys...Hey it's worth a shot right? 7. body mount washers. I'm getting close to actually needing these so who has the good stash? They are going to a good home I promise. The list will grow, but if anyone has this stuff now LMK and we will be in touch. Thanks in advance guys!

Pad trim is probably gonzo. It was a driver. And no I have the NOS fenders that were destined for the car before under body rot claimed it.

| Matt's never going to use those fenders. He's going to hang them up in his bedroom surrounded by a collage of boxy-related items with an altar in front of it all, candles, etc. | |

| It's cool Matt. I have NOS SEO stuff in boxes I'll probably never use either. Just fun to know you have it. | |

| Matt, I know where there is a good rad support.
Let me know when you get back, we can take a spin over and rip it off if you want.

I don't have any new ones - - - for sale. What I do have is a set of front and rear NOS bumper rubber trim strips destined for my 88 burgundy LS Brougham. As far as the "bumperette" versions being different, , , They actually are the same, over-rider (or bumperette) equipped cars simply had the necessary holes drilled out "after the fact" to facilitate the attachment of the entirely too frequently installed, optional over-riders. This bumperette option was something that the dealer could add on to a car for a customer that wanted them on a stripped down model that did not come with them from the factory. When I ordered mine (bumper rub strips) directly from GM while still available, I used my V.I.N. which specified that I had bumper over-riders, but the rubber strips are identical to the ones without them. In other words, my NOS rubber strips were correct for my car which did come factory equipped with over-riders, but my new strips do NOT have the drilled out holes - yet, thankfully! I bought ALL the rubber & chrome trim parts that GM still had available (in early/mid nineties) - like trunk deck lid & door seal gaskets, front and rear filler panels and headers, front fenders, rad support, wheel liners, etc. One of my cars may have a good (not perfect) set of bumper rub strips that aren't crumbling or torn apart. How bad are yours? There may also be a few very usable front and/or rear inner aluminum bumper supports floating around here somewhere. If you decide to purchase new 5-MPH bumper "pistons", you will find them to be VERY small and flimsy (and expensive) compared to your originals. After investing too much time making my original pistons look presentable, then realizing that they would no longer compress & rebound upon impact, I bought the new "light-weight" ones just for safety. Now, , , If I could only find a set of NOS or reasonably near "perfect condition" used NON-rubber strip chrome bumper shells (W or W/O inner support beams) that do NOT have all those "wrecked"angular holes that the factory punched into it all the way round to attach the rubber bumper strip.

Sometime THIS weekend I'll be pulling them out to take that nose apart to have the inners and rad sup. blasted if they pass my inspection. - Machine-De-Zine wrote:

VERY good to know about the strips! Now I can be confident in purchasing if I find some honey hole of b-body parts! Wish I was old enough to realize and buy up all those parts back then! Too bad, I have some good used ones I think. I was going to grab those new pistons anyway because I know mine are too sketchy for this car once I actually get the body/paint work done. They are good enough for now, but I won't run them for long I don't think. I may try to find a set of those bumpers w/o the holes for the strip just to bypass the issue of finding them. However, I really prefer the look of the strip. I'll let you know if I find anything worth buying, but so far nothing has turned up. If you did happen to have a good REAR aluminum support bar I would be interested. I have a driver quality front but I'm fresh out of rears! I really have got to work out a time to give you a call sometime! AFA used rubbers go, I may need a rear one of those too if possible. I'm going to make an attempt to save the front one from the bumper that was in the accident. Believe it or not it's still in one piece!
