| Left late Monday night and got in Wednesday morning. Cape Cod, MA to Baltimore, MD on 1 tank with a few gal to spare. 23.5 MPG loaded to the ceiling. Wagon averaged 22-23 MPG. Not a single mechanical issue. Despite several people I know, who don't know cars, judging a book by it's cover. You're driving "THAT" to Florida? You sure it's gonna make it? Tom I'll still be here Tom - toomanytoyz wrote:

On a side note, must be nice to be reunited with the caddy... Yes, the Caddy is a HUGE change from the blown suspension, broken exhaust manifold bolt, no AC ugly wagon. Smooth, quiet, ice cold AC and a real head turner, for the right reasons. These perfectly smooth Florida roads are great with the lowered suspension. - sdstick wrote:

Happy Anniversary BTW Thanks! Yes right now it's all novel. We'll see how I feel about it in a few months lol. Gonna start looking for a job in a week or so. Gonna spend some time with the family. These two are on the back burner for now. I took the Caprice for a short ride around the community. First ride it's been on in 2 years. Runs and drives great.

In all fairness Tim, the blown suspension, broken exhaust manifold bolt, no AC ugly wagon, didn't leave you on the side of the road. Tom

| Glad you made it down there safely. We'll miss you up here. It's funny seeing Rhode Island plates in Florida instead of the other way around | |

| Tim, glad to see you made it with no issues. Is Ft. Pierce and/or PSL near Jupiter FL? I stayed there for a week a couple years ago and the area looked just like your pic with the Caddy there. There were a LOT of people from New England down there, everyone was nice and friendly also. It was really funny how good the roads were down there, most of them were cement I think where I was. I didn't like how a lot of stuff was set up in a grid pattern and was giving me deja vu as we drove around places, I'm too used to the cow paths turned highways up here I guess. But I will definitely assume people down there get more miles out of their suspension parts! If I'm ever gonna be down that way I'll let you know ahead of time. | |

| Glad your trip went well, hope all goes well in Florida. (BTW, Rhode Island isn't really it's own state anyway, it's really just a town in the southeast of Mass) | |

Damn I love that Caprice... Gonna be sad not seeing it unless I road trip it Remember to log in every now and then, and get ready for a new life of junk yarding for us all Good luck with everything Tim, especially landing a job and getting on your feet etc.
