Nice! Too bad the Audi photo bombed you :/

I had a good time in the parade here. Big turn out too. A complete 180 from the weather at the race track last night.

I hope everyone has a safe and enjoyable weekend.

Don't forget what this weekend is about.

Meant to post earlier

In line with what Brian said (& knowing your all on-board)

Thanks to ALL the veterans past & present that gave up thier freedom to preserve ours.. elephant

Take a minute & throw your hopes & prayers to our veterans....you owe it to them & they deserve it.

I know Brian is one...how many more do we have?

Post up so my lousy memory can direct some good karma in your direction.. Arrow

Here's a music video that was done from our first deployment to Iraq in 2006. I figured I'd share it with you guys. The final edit and YouTube link is by CPL. Andrew Stroud from my old platoon.
1st Platoon, Delta Company, 3rd Amphibious Assault Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division
MCAGCC 29 Palms, CA.
Say that 10x fast Razz

Quick disclaimer: This may or may not have body parts or something in it. Theres a raw version and a clean version. I cant view it on mobile. So if you're a pansy ass I'll take it down and anyone who is interested and didn't see it, I can PM a link or something.

No harm in that. I remember the legs thing like yesterday. Our FIRST day as MAP/QRF (mobile assault/quick reaction force) squad size. We had 1 7 ton Oshkosh truck as the lead Vic (they can take a heavier IED blast than a humvee) and 3 humvees. Only in country for a couple months and had just moved from al quim to baghdadi (not Baghdad). We were down the street at our company HQ (shared with a small group of Iraqi Army inside the MHC (military housing complex) which was a saddam era military town for family members and shit. it housed our AO's Iraqi Police HQ as well) and heard the explosion. Being the QRF, we were sent out and of course, there were already Iraqi Army humvees there along with some car parts, a burned out bulk of a car, and the legs you saw. The story we got was that he drove at the IA vehicles at a high rate of speed so they put him down. The resulting explosion they say was the result of it being an SVBIED ( suicide vehicle born IED). Sooooo that's my cool story bro. Figured I'd put the face errr legs with the ...name, well you get it Wink

Nice vid Brian. Haven't heard that P.O.D. song in a while. I feel old now.

Utmost respect for anyone who has served, been wounded, or made the ultimate sacrifice while serving their country on not only this day, but every day.
