When the key is turned, the light comes on during the self checks. However, the light fails as a warning once the needle goes in the red.

Already run out of gas once thinking I had enough to last me. Very aggravating night.

Any ideas of hand on where to look?

Think the sender just has a 1 wire 0-90ohm so any wrning must be cluster related?

I always go by mileage...cuz I get a whopping 15MPG consistent.. Mad

It's a strange issue given that it lights up upon key turn.

The light is triggered by the cluster sensing the resistance, must be an issue in the cluster itself.

Hmmm. Might be related to my hi beam indicator staying on...

Running until the light comes on is a good way to learn how much fun dropping the tank and replacing a fuel pump is.
