| Pretty sure it's the discombobulation spring and cylinder now. | |

| It lives! I took the parts out of my spare trans that Jr tore up, that gave a sequence to which they are installed. I think it needs a 1/2 Quart or so other than that it runs fine so far, might have an overheating issue but we'll figure it out. I'll install the Eibach's once I straighten out the issues | |

| Were you right on your assembly order guess?
Not that I'll ever do this...just wondering
Also...what part is that anyway? part of the valve body I assume but the way it sticks thru the filter confuses me.
Is that a return to the pan? In which case I'd think it went spring 1st?...no idea | |

| It's some valve that is inside the pump that is accessed from the bottom of the trans. The valve (boost?) is retained by a snap ring. I was having a hard time getting the $7 snap ring pliars to work. I was pretty sure the snap ring was secure but obviously it wasn't. The parts just fell harmlessly to the bottom of the pan, snap ring got lodged in the filter intake. I pulled the valve assembly out of the trans that Al built and Tom tore up, and installed in this trans. That was the best trans I ever had in my cars, to bad but she'll get rebuilt some day. | |
