| The Not Quite Ready for NH Meet
When: Sunday Aug 25th 10am. Where: Chicopee State Park 570 Burnett Rd. Chicopee, MA 01020 Cost: $5 to enter the park. Going to see if I can work out a group rate.
Same as above, hang out there for a bit, shoot the breeze, swap parts? There is a lake with beach, restrooms, couple pavilions and some trails if that's of interest to anyone. I'll probably bring some coffee and munchkins like at the Roundup. Then cruise to a drive in about 8-10 miles away for lunch/ice cream, etc.
Directions for the park:
From the West: Head east on I-90 E Take exit 6 toward Springfield- 0.5 mi Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd 0.2 mi Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi
From the East: Head west on I-90 W Take exit 6 toward Springfield - 0.3 mi Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi
From the North: Take I-91 S Take exit 14 to merge onto I-90 E Take exit 6 toward Springfield-0.5 mi Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi
From the South: Take I-91 N Take exit 14 to merge onto I-90 E Take exit 6 toward Springfield - 0.5 mi Keep right at the fork, follow signs for Burnett Rd - 0.2 mi Continue on Burnett Rd. Park will be on the left - 0.3 mi
Wondering if anyone is interested in having a meet down in W.Mass sometime Either next month or early Sept. Scoped out a few spots we could meet/grab some food/shoot the chit. Just putting out a feeler on interest and what might be a good day for you guys.

| Alright. Since August, and Sundays seem to be better (most meets usually are Sunday)... How does Sunday Aug 18th work for now? It's one of the few free Sundays I have next month, plus it gives us a month to plan/get time off/ etc.
Let me know.
Also, like I said, I scoped out a couple spots we could go. There are a couple parks in the area with picnic areas, a state park and then a semi abandoned shopping plaza where we could take over a corner and no one would really notice.

| I wish I could make it, but I am in the process of some heavy logging and site work on my property with the intention of putting in a foundation this fall. For that to happen I can't miss any weekend days I still have available to work around the property.

| So I was thinking, for a small meet and to keep it low key. I'm proposing we meet at the shopping plaza I mentioned beforem bs for a little while- there are also a few food places nearby if anyone wanted food and then take a ~15-20 minute cruise out to a drive in for ice cream or w/e. Nothing fancy, but just something to do as a group. Questions/comments/suggestions? | |

| Not at all I remember talking to you about brads in chicopee almost bought his 92 custom cruiser but he bought the vehicle from the son of a dead guy and the car is still in the dead guys name complete mess. Instead found a nice custom cruiser for only 600 bucks more. | |

| Is there a random scenic park or someplace relatively nearby kind of akin to the boat ramp place near Newick's that they have the NH meet at Justin? I only suggest it because I feel people might not want to take the drive to get sunburnt at the Price Rite supahmahket lot while Justin steps away for a bit to buy chip brushes at Bahgain Outlit for painting his undercarriage...lol Or maybe the ice cream place would be cool, I dunno...I'm talking out of my arse over here. And there def needs to be food! Indy, I'm sure you have something tucked away there that most of us haven't seen yet/lately to bring... | |

Indy, I'm sure you have something tucked away there that most of us haven't seen yet/lately to bring... I DO, but it's not driving (again!) I just yanked the engine out for an LT1 swap in a few weeks. If it's driving by the 25th I'll bring it. I'm also waiting on parts from a certain badass member who has been pretty quiet lately to finish the project. I'm about 30 min from Chicopee (closer to Worcester side) anyone going to the meet is more than welcome to come by for a visit and check it out. I have that day off believe it or not!

| I went and scoped out the state park. It was closed for a little while because of some storms we had, but its back open. I think it'll make a good spot-better than a shopping plaza . It does cost, iirc, $2 to enter, but I'm going there sometime this week to see if we can arrange some sort of group rate. I'm going to post the rest of the details in the first post. | |

What time are we all meeting? The park "officially" opens at 10. I'm going to be there by then to get us a block of parking spaces. Also, went to the park today after work. No group rate. $5 to get in. But, since we'll be there early enough we can grab a bunch of spaces.

| The 1st ever Not Quite Ready For NH Meet is over. Went pretty good I think. Just four cars, but we made the most of it. Hung out at the park, then cruised over for lunch. Already have a couple ideas for when we do it again. Thanks to Bigblue88, Lynol and 95brmw for coming out. Good to see everyone. Couple pictures: | |

| Those are some good looking cars. Couldn't have asked for a better day. The first year of the Roundup, I was hoping for 6 cars. We ended up with 9, couldn't have been happier. Off the top of my head, I think we have been as high as 27. It will take some time, but just keep working at it.
