PostSubject: Ugh   Mon Apr 01, 2013 8:04 pm

One would think that April 1st is a fun day of pranks and jokes. But seems today it just wanted to kick me in the nuts.

Lost a guy at work today, he was suppose to remain part time, been part time for 4 years. And we treat him great, paid him all winter even when he didn't work, he made it up in the summer. Decided he likes his new part time job better and bailed on us when we needed him most.

Daughter has to have her tonsals removed, and the X drops the news of the $3000 dollars not covered by insurance.

Went to the garage to finish up the caprice to drive, as I fried the tranny in the Yukon days ago. And my GMC truck is down to get some crap fixed, snapped the rear brake slide off, now I can't put the rear caliper brackett on. Went out rummaged through 10 boxes of junk and found the only brackett I have, with the same broken f#kin slide bolt.

So f'it ill toss a battery and use the V for a couple days. Uncover it, flat tire, nice big screw in it. Ok, take it off tonight, get it fixed tomorrow. Fire up compresser, no air, got a leak in the hose somewhere (I have 150 ft of hose)

I tossed the air gun across the floor, slammed the door and called it a night.

Oh and I find out I have anxiety, to the point that I could have a stroke or some shit. And I gained back 8 pounds. Fuk.

April Foo... Oh shit. Never mind.

Sorry dude. Sucky day. Sad

On a lighter note... I wrapped an elastic band around the spray nozzle on our kitchen sink this afternoon and pointed it towards where one would stand to use the sink. Then I waited patiently for my wife to go turn the water on for something. Paydirt hit after dinner when she went to rinse off the plates. I nudged Bella just as Keri-Lyn reached for the faucet. The look of confusion, anger, and *almost* humor was completely broken by Bella's hysterical laughter when she saw what happened... HA HA! April Fool's Mommah! Very Happy We all got a good laugh outta that. Bella even wanted to try it.

Anyways, hope that got ya to chuckle, at least. Wink

I've had a few of those days myself lately Glen- That sucks, when it rains it pours, but I'm sure things will look up soon.

The warm weather starting to come back has really helped with me, I've been pretty depressed over the last few months to be honest. No one wants to hang out or do anything, the weather sucks, cold raw muddy shitty everything.

This weekend I didn't do anything for Easter either, so I got the old Impala out and drove it all weekend until it rained Sunday night. That was fun and cheered me up. April is my favorite time of year... Smile
