Contemplating swapping a 4.3 into the wife's 88. Some serious running issues with the carb/computer/wiring. Went to do a simple fuel filter the other day and now I can't keep the damn thing running. Already replaced the quadrajet with one from an 85... No change still bogs when you rev it in park or in gear. No idea what it's problem is.
I figure with a 4.3 I'm gaining 30hp and eliminating dumb designs while keeping ok MPG.
looking for a matching set engine/trans/PCM if I can get it, exhaust manifolds and cats are a plus!

Prefer 94/95.

with all the carbs and intakes laying around the old mans stash you can't get that girl running old school style? Even if it's while you wait for a 4.3 DO IT!
