Went to look at this 88 caprice the other day. Was on CL in Douglas for $800
63k original miles. SOLID! needs some work to the body and replace a few missing items
Heater core disconnected so I assume it's a leaker, owner installed manual choke. 87/88 have GARBAGE under the hood!!!
Has serious power issue going up hills that I wanna say feels like a clogged cat.
We know how to fix that! Twisted Evil

Crovo was over here last week getting a transmission, while looking through stuff in the garage I found a rusty old horseshoe.
Taking advice from our fearless leader I crammed that uncomfortable hunk of metal up my rear like Christopher Walken and a gold watch. It must've worked cuz I got the car for $400 cash and drove it home!!!

It's for the wife so I'm just gonna fix it and leave It,
If I inherit it someday I'll stuff a big block in it, bag it and drag it.

I do however have a low mile TBI engine from anthony's laid low 91 caprice that is gonna be a backup engine incase something happens to this one,
At least I'm prepared!

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh hahahahahaha Laughing

Nice score, I think I'm going to have to "trade up" to a boxy soon as it seems that's what all the cool kids are driving these days.

So the cool kids are done with Miatas and Subarus and into boxys? I'm ok with that. Hopefully I can get around to driving mine while it's still cool! Cool

EDIT: BTW Indy that's an awesome score! Jealous over here!
