Looking to buy or trade for a quadrajet carb

Previous owner/owners of my wife's 88 caprice decide to butcher the carb with their goon hands and I believe it's whats causing me to have no power/acceleration on inclines.

Looking for a 87/88 (or any other years that interchange) quadrajet in working condition.
Not looking to make this a hotrod or tweak things with holleys or edelbrocks
I want this car to stay as stock as possible,

I'll admit that I don't know much about carbs, but I have 2 of them. One is off an 85 C20, the other off an 86 Monte carlo (I think that has an electrical connector on it). Their both off 305s, are those any help?

What Dave has should work. I replaced the quad in my monte SS back in '07. And yes, there's an electrical connector. MAKE SURE you have a vacuum diagram to route everything properly. #1 cause of running like shit. That and properly tightened studs. no air leaks. i mean, you know all that. Back when did mine it was about $300 for a refurb at vatozone. Might be a better option than any crap that could be offered on here.
