Getting tired of the black ss wheels. I want to eventually put on some Michelin white walls or vogues (rediculously expensive).

Took the Fleetwood out of the garage and drove it to work today.

I got some aircraft stripper a paint brush and plastic scraper.

Before. I'm not sure how the wheel was painted but it was a slick glossy surface.

I painted the stripper onto the wheel. It didn't take much time to work. While painting it on I was removing paint by moving the brush around.

Using the plastic scraper I scraped off what I could and then hit the wheel with a hose.

Ill have to do another treatment to get the rest of the clear coat off the lip. Whoever had these wheels before already stripped the spokes.... And unfortunately scuffed them before painting. So, they will require a bit of polishing to look nice again.

Just a test fit. I put the vogues and chrome wheels back on for now until I'm done stripping and polishing all four wheels.

Sweet! Smile

I'm not really fan of the painted SS wheels.

What are you doing with them? Just gonna polish them?

Nice dude, I was thinking of doing that to the set I have, 2 have a little bit of corrosion starting. It's not super noticeable though so maybe I'll hold off.

Lowered on the Vogues = teh sexxiness

I'm not sure what I'm doing with them yet. Just gonna strip them and hit them with the power cone and see what they look like.

Although, now it's gonna look like every other Fleetwood with ss wheels. But, the vogues do look damn good on there.
