Never saw these before, guess they've been around for a while with good reviews. Figured I'd post them, they're definitely interesting.

Lots more links off of those and via google.

I've never even pondered this, I've heard you used to be able to get retreaded tires but they were cheap crap, and most relegated to tractor trailers now.

Sometimes people get a different tread applied to the BFG carcass (or other sidewall brand) like that of a Goodyear MT, which looks funny but not too noticeable. Personally I'd always want the BFG carcass because those All Terrains have damn near bulletproof sidewalls.

I just may never buy new BFGs again! Laughing

This is a retread:

Keep in mind, a 285 BFG for an 18" wheel is something ridiculous like 300 bucks each brand new right now. Shocked That is absurd!

I know. It makes me want to dance around in a field full of wildflowers n'shit.

Bill, can you believe how friggin' cheap those things are? I just noticed that on the website, they're trying to keep up with orders and can't guarantee you won't get BFG AT tread on a tire that says BFG MT, but it doesn't really matter. I bet certain times of the year they get backed up like that.

If anyone is doubting these, take some time and read those threads as well as some others that shoot off from them, it's pretty amazing how good the reviews are on them, I was surprised.
