 Chrome trim around the glass...

PostSubject: Chrome trim around the glass...   Mon Feb 04, 2013 6:42 pm

Do any of you guys have any experience with pulling the polished stainless trim from around the window area? It looks like the molding on the body itself is screwed on, but the moldings on the doors where the window sweeps are....is that clips or something?

Trying to get this stupid thing stripped and prepped for paint.

I think they screw on but I have no idea. It'll be a good question for the experienced body man though...

Been awhile since I've worked on a box, can you gimme a pic of the piece you are talking about? I've completely stripped a few.
