| That is a nice Caddy and that sure is clean. I'm guessing his reserve has got to be $6000 to $6500.

| Wow, that is a seriously nice setup right there. I'm surprised I've never seen that thing if it's supposedly in Wakefield. Could have done without all the "n's" and "u's" in lieu of words in the ad though... Put down the damned smahhhhtfones and get on a computer, people! It does not take any longer to type out a word! All kidding aside though, that car is how it's done folks, none of this donk BS. | |

Here's the thread: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/rwd-19xx-1984-deville-fleetwood-1985/269483-new-caddys-n-forums.html
And, another one that was done by a body swap: http://www.cadillacforums.com/forums/rwd-19xx-1984-deville-fleetwood-1985/271782-lt1-engine-swap-into-84-coupe.html

DO IT! I'm bidding, but I doubt I'll be the high bidder.

| You know your in trouble when your bid meets the reserve.. I kinda doubt that'll happen @ $200 increments BUT....we have members in that area if needed. | |

| Does the 307 have the same external bolt patten as a SBC? Is it SBC?
I thought you sold the Caddy. I think your ad is misleading, I didn't see any rust.

I thought you sold the Caddy. I think your ad is misleading, I didn't see any rust. 307 in that age of a car is an Olds engine, completely different from the 60's SBC 307. I'm sure you could make it work though

I thought you sold the Caddy. I think your ad is misleading, I didn't see any rust. most of the 86 -89 FWB had the 307 olds...... Junk !.........in 1990's the TBI 305 was standard. I Sold A caddy, still got mine....... for now...... ........ it has blue interior Jim.........

| If you have a 305 an LT1 is a relatively easy swap. Just use the 305 motor mounts. If you have a 700r4 you can resue your drive shaft too. Sorry, I'm working on a deal on a '91 Camaro with a LT1. Used to have a 305 and 700r4. | |

| The 1990 Brougham is a wild card- they had the Euro nose and the updated interior, cladding, etc., but they still had the carbureted Olds 307 in them! However, the TBI Chevy 350 was optional in 1990 for the towing package. Wtf? Then in 1991 GM realized that was retahded and started putting both the TBI 305 and the 350s in them for that year and 1992...lol. I remember looking at a really nice black 1990 model, then getting pissed because I thought it would be the TBI Chevy version and it wasn't...it had those cool Cadillac real wire wheels, which I guess you couldn't get on the 350-powered ones. I think a good thing about those 307 cars is you can also swap an Olds 455 right into them...I'd still rather a 307 than an HT4100 ticking time bomb car, that's for sure... | |

| You have to find out how much he wants for it. That thing is pretty sweet. I personally would have gone LS if I was doing all that work, but it is still pretty damn sweet. | |
