anybody have an ECM for sale!

I know the computer in my car had been replaced at one time. It's got markings similar to what you'd find
from a junk yard part. My speedo is off and the car shuts off @ 100 mph. I'm looking for a correct spec ECM
for a 1995 impala with 5.7. I'm replacing this along with plugs, wires and an opti. My car is currently dead at
my job in Mansfield, ma. I know the ECM isn't the problem, but while I'm spending money I don't have I might as well.
If anyone out there has one for sale please let me know. Thanks.

Id anyone near you that knows how to tune it? Sounds like someone was messing with the computer at some point.

Computer was never changed by me, and the car ran good for the amount i drove it, but i didn't run hard or fast.

I ddin't know if its a 4.3 computer. Not sure how it would run.

Glen, I received an opti, plugs and wires going to try and replace today. I have great spark
coming from coil little to no spark coming from opti!

Well...there you have it

Ill bet mike when you pull it sort, it's corroded from the water in the car wash. If it wouldn't start after that.

I use a touchless wash that sprays under the car as you drive over the jets...when I first did the SS, I freaked out knowing about the opti being where it was, so I always fly across the jets quick to get the nose of the car past, then go slow to spray the whole underneath to the rear of the car...

still not running! so far I replaced the coil, ignition module, complete opti, plugs, wires! Still won't start. Not even
a spudder! Before I think about replacing a timing set I'm going to try an ECM. I pluged in the tech 2 and found I have RPM and ignition. It's getting gas and spark. Right before it died the car did some strange things like turning on the fans when it was cold. Thats why I'm leaning twards a computer. No DTC's either!

Have you ever heard of replacing a timing set?
I used to sell them when caprices where popular
with the cabbies. But they always had 2-3 hundred k on their cars!
