| I need a car stereo for the 95. Don't want the stock police crap radio.
I haven't bought a car stereo in 20 years. What's good and cheap now. Just want a nice sound, with apple I pod connector.

| Get a Dual (brand) cd player from walmart, I paid like $80 for mine. Good options and sound. Has USB port right on the front. I can plug my iPod or my iPhone into it through USB and listen to music AND charge it at the same time.
Pretty nice display to! They sell the wire connector there for like $7 and an install kit for like $13 or something.

| Bought a JVC from Bestbuy a few months ago with a USB port on the front and built in HD radio for around $120. I've been very happy with it and the colors could be set be an almost perfect match for my RMW's dash | |

| Get to Walmart before all their Christmas gift clearance stuff is gone!!!! I just last week bought a Kenwood CD/MP3 player with front Aux jack for iPod for 59 bucks. AND it came with a pair of decent Kenwood Co-ax 6.5" speakers. It's red illumination though, but if that doesn't bother you, it's a Hell of a deal. Upgrade the radio AND front door speakers for less than 60 bucks! Woot!
I put it in the Outback and it sounds pretty good. Plenty of EQ adjustments and has a set of pre-outs with a separate sub control if you ever wanted to add an amp. Sounds way better than the upgraded factory subaru stereo and speakers (which were panasonic).
There's a bunch at the one in Plaistow, if you want me to pick one up for you if there's none left up there.
You can get an install kit and harness with antenna adapter on eBay for like 10-15 bucks shipped for the whole shebang.

| I'm going to Walmart tomorrow I guess.
I have the wiring and antenna adapter, it was left behind from the pioneer. I will need the install piece though. As he took the whole insert.

| I'm one of the clowns fumbling around with a big black CD folder while I'm trying to drive...I need to get an iPod or some shizz. Or a smahtfone.
I didn't even think to see if the SS's head unit has an AUX input on it...I have an Mp3 player but it kind of pisses me off and doesn't organize songs very well...so I never use it.
That WalFart radio and speakers deal sounds pretty decent, I might grab one of those to use in the yellow Impala next season and mount it in a box under the dash or something...then hide the speakers someplace under the dash as well...
