Oh and I got a 360┬░wand not a 90┬░ as is in the description. It's what I prefer anyway.

Jim

How big of a compressor do you need to run that? I know that's not an issue with you, but it is with me.

thanks

"Requires 40-60 psi @ 5-6 cfm"

I'd guess my old 110V compressor would work but you might have to pause now and then for it to catch up.

Sorry meant "feeding frenzy" not "feeding crazy", as you figured out.

It's an undercoating, http://www.fluid-film.com

I'll be giving it a try probably by the end of next week.

Hmm good to know. I did use some in the spray can and I remember the smell. I have a 2 car garage, under, so if I sprayed that stuff, it would be right under the kitchen. I use a mask and glasses.

Think I could get away with doing it in the garage with the doors open and then backing it out when I'm done? I would leave the doors open most of the day as the Mrs. is at work, to air out. I don't mind doing it outside, but I have it on stands which makes it easy. Or I could just do it outside and jack up with a floor jack.

Got some more ammo.

The smell doesn't get me high like SEM does. The truck still smells a bit one week later.

How long does it last? Is it something that has to be re-applied every year? Is it sprayed off by a drive-thru car wash?

youtube search "CORVAIRWILD Fluid Film" and you'll see his updates on his hours long application to suburbans in upstate NY. It holds up nicely.

Don't know. I plan to do at least a touch up each year. Won't ever know.

My next accessory?

They recommend it being applied every year

No

I bought it for the cars I don't use in the winter, so I'm guessing it should be good for atleast 5 years. I will also apply on the cars we use in the winter, looks like every year.

I apply it during the winter every oil change to brake line fittings. And anyplace that's wash off from rain.

Today I added a laser sight, flashlight, and a longer barrel.

I need to work on the flashlight mounting but it works OK for now.

I will be doing the Caprice wagon tomorrow, it will be warm enough to open the garage door. Soon as I'm done, out the car goes and I will leave the doors open for about a 1/2 hour. Last time there was no complaints from the Mrs., as it aired out pretty good.
