| That car is nothing short of amazing, I've always loved it, that's my kind of "head-turner". Thanks for posting it! | |

| Wish i could find a nova/malibu in that good original shape. I got a nasty DZ (not the real block) 302 built motor that would make a small car scream. Not 1200 HP scream, but enough to get it rolling good. lol | |

But in a good way. Ya...did you see him creep around that corner? Maybe that was the auto camber control engaging?.... ..

| DZ was only 69 in the DZ 302 69 z28 camaro. Engine was built to those specs, turns 7200 rpm, not sure of the HP yet.
Was in a car my dad bought years ago. And I'm going to shoehorn it into a car soon.

| It was in the 67 and 68 Z28s also, although alot rarer than the 69. Factory claimed 290 HP which was a joke and was believed to be over 400 in real life. | |

| My bad. I thought the 67-68 were race engines (used for trans am racing) and it wasnt used untill 69 as a production.
Ill get some pics next time I'm in his shop

| 67 & 69 had the 327 block and used the 283 crank= 302 ci. In 1969 they utilized the 350 block and can't remember off the top of my head what they used for the crank. A friend of mine had a 69 Z28 with the DZ 302 ci. /M22 four speed. | |
