- You guys remember that black boxy coupe roller with the red interior that keeps showing up on CL and then disappearing? Well, I found it! It's at a friend of a friend's shop. He's ready to put a big block in it, but I told him I knew a few guys who wanted it and could probably consider it sold. I'd buy it myself, but I don't have a place to put a non-driving car. I've looked at it and it's pretty clean. It's not a southern car, but it's a clean Northeast car. So, if you want it, LMK ASAP. 850 bucks and it's yours. It has to happen FAST though, or he's gonna keep it. Text, email, or pm me if you want it. I'll go put a deposit on it for you if you want. It's right up the street from me in Atkinson. Seriously, it has to happen FAST!
Why so fast? Is the engine like, dangling over the engine bay on a hoist? That car deserves to be in the hands of a true B-body fanatic. That would be cool if he did keep it and do a big block though...

| Because if it doesn't happen fast, the big block is going in it and he's keeping it. This is a limited time opportunity. | |

| Oh man! Great clip!
It's funny they referenced another one of his movies.
Maybe they should have done a Gator Mclusky ford.
The one where they use the military limo and run into THE actual PVT Pyle is classic. Good cameo!
Insulting Dom with calling him "General Admission" = spewing milk from nose HILARIOUS!
Idk what my childhood would have been like without movies like this.
Reminds me, I bought "Mother, Jugs, and Speed" on DVD a few months ago. NEED to watch that!!

| I showed it to my buddy a few weeks ago but he's trying to get rid of stuff, he just sold his Jetta the other day and is getting rid of Scirocco he was building. I mean, the car looks so clean, could even dump a regular 350 in it and drive the thing. I wonder if it needs work on the brakes and whatnot too or "just" an engine/trans?
Either way it's a smokin' deal.

| Mileage is on the dealer website - 67k.
Low miles, at a new car dealer... $7495 is probably lowballing it. There was a DGGM Fleetwood on a used car lot in North Providence not long ago for $13k.

Nice looking vehicle.....I'd drive it if I needed another car....hard to kill a 305 too. Kinda easy to kill those 305's. '77-'79(early 80) had soft, flat-tappet cams, that would wipe out pretty easy, then all the crap would take the bearings out. I.E. The no power 305/rod knock Even easier to kill em with todays shiddy oil (oil manufactures took Zinc and other additives out)

Hi, lurker here, and for my first post I'll tell you my story Went and looked at this car this morning, not impressed. Yes it does have rust, that drivers 1/4 is missing 2-3 inches of the exterior metal, not cool. Also, in the ad the guy says its dent free, clean interior, and doesn't mention rust. I called the guy, he says "a little rust" . Also, it's got some dents and scraps all over the car. But, if you are still interested at this point, he is "very anxious to sell it", in his words. You could possibly get a deal if you are into doing the rust work, paint, etc. I walked away from the car once I found the hole I could fit my hand thru, I am just looking for a car with a clean body to start with.

Yea, I might have picked it up myself as a fixer-upper if I didn't have some many problems, i mean projects, already. I'm not unrealistic, I am prepared to do a complete mechanical refresh, just don't want to deal with body rot, my DD already has that issue. http://boston.craigslist.org/sob/cto/3884751828.html I like this one, the maroon interior is awesome, and that aluminum dash trim gives it a decent bling factor. But the guy just wants way too much, because its a "Vintage Classic" with "low miles". Ha, wonder what that makes my 86 C10 with 96k miles worth, It needs paint and rust repair too.

I was thinking it might be nicer. Oh well.
The '85 I had back in 2004/2005 had the nice trim on the dash like that.
Kinda classy looking. Easy to keep "clean looking".
