It's really a sin this car has been left to deteriorate. A '76 coupe is a bucket-list car for me. I think this one could be saved, doesn't look too "rotted"... Matt, good eye. Those were beautiful cars. I had a 1972 Buick Electra I bought in 1973, that was my first Buick. I think that 76 had a sticker price of around $6700. We were just coming off the Arab oil embargo and they couldn't give those things away. Some sat new on lots for 2 years. That was probably my favorite year also. The following year 1977, they cut them down sizewise. I bought a 77 Park Ave, loved that car, until the day a nun hit my wife and totaled it. Oh well. I also had a 1978 and a 1983 Park Ave. Unlike your car: - Matt Trakker wrote:

Tom I've always loved those cars too, since I was a little kid. I don't know what swayed me toward vehicles like this, maybe because they were so different from the "new cars", but that was one of my favorites. I like the 74s too because they have that same rear end with the cool taillights as the 75-76, but the older style roofline with the roll-down quarter windows. I like the dash and nose of the later ones better though.

Dudes email is sdstudio54 lol, must be all the drugs he took? He doesn't even know what decade he bought the car in! I like how chevy and ford could get together and make an interceptor model caprice. What i like even more than that is that they badged it as an SS as well, very clever of them! SS=super sport=Secret Service=awwwwwwwesome!!!!!!!!!! All kidding aside, is this a 9c1 for real? I'm not up on the service vehicles. Isn't a red 9c1 interior rare?

| Red is pretty rare, i've only seen 2.
This guy sells some pretty high end cars, had an SS years ago for like $30k with 20k miles. The town is the same, but i think he was SDSTUDIO back then.
Someone tell this douchbag to fix his write up.

Sure looks like a legit 9C1. Vinyl door panels without pull straps, trunk popper on the dash, and of course the Police Interceptor badge . I'll give him the benefit of the doubt and assume he mistyped 1994/5/6 as 1984/5/6. The rest of it... . CompNine says out of 31,762 1995 9C1s, 426 had Ruby Red interior trim and 373 of those had cloth seats. 40 were black on red, so his claim of 300 identical Secret Service Caprice SSes is also BS .

Haha, damnit! I would totally go look at that if I did not have the SS. That was up before for a moderately higher price...that sunroof and the rot over the fender skirt starting scares me but who cares in that price range, would be a fun driver to leave out in the rain (with a tarp over it) lol.
