Searched on ISSF, found a lot of threads and no real info on the subject. Thought about removing the lights in the dash, don't have a problem with the ABS light because it's probable the lack of a reluctor when the 3:73's were installed. The Airbag is another story. Not sure if it's something simple like a fuse or what. Have any of you guys come across this problem or know how to fix it?

I would start with fuses, and if not that try checking the clockspring, make sure no loose wires under the dash.
I'd remove the actual airbag and then check the wiring with a multimeter starting at the wheel and working down.

Bright yellow wire conduit with white and green wires.
There is a connection in the steering wheel, and then another at the bottom of the column under kick panel.

Could be a sensor up front or the module as well, but I'd start with the fuses. And I wouldn't drive the car with the air bag IN the wheel.

Yes^^^ & be real careful testing
They always say pull the fuse (they may even say disconnect battery)...wait for XX minutes THEN work on it

I know the circuit has its own unique ground in the drivers side kick panel
but I have nothing else to add. Good luck....let us know.

Pass bag is the problem, unplugging the bulb to get it stickered. Also had a no start issue. Traced it to the trans, keeps blowing fuse so he uplugged the trans and it started. Now in limp mode till I work that out. Going to replace valve body harness and see if that does the trick

Trans internal harness had a wire open and rubbing on the TCC Solenoid retainer clip. Installed new harness and going to crank it up today.

That's right, only pussies use garages, l Razz !
Actually I have the car in a temp storage plastic thingy, and when the Sun is out it gets pretty warm. Well the good news is it is running. Very Happy The bad news is it's in limp mode. As I said before, it is a PWM Trans (95 4l60e & up) with the TCC staked.

Notice the conduit missing, wire was between the the filter & retainer clip. That's what caused the short.
