| Originated in Maine. 4.5. Wife says it shook our house, moved the mattress on the bed, and woke up our son. We are 20 min North of Providence,RI.

| I was outside, and at first thought the dog was chasing the cat through the house, but realized I do not have a dog or cat that big. Phyllis poked her head out to ask what it was. I told her I guess it was a 5.0 earthquake. I have never felt one on the east coast, but been through a handful on the west coast. | |

| I have a couple friends who live in SoCal and they are laughing their asses off at the reaction to everyone here. | |

| I thought it was a jet cracking the sound barrier. Shook the garage for a second. | |

| Yes I did. It shook the whole house. It was pretty substantial, actually. We had no idea what it was. Figured the downstairs landlord had the washing machine go way off balance and bang the walls or something...
It was a slow, rolling rumble that lasted about 10 seconds.

| Lol. I saw that on FB. There's 2 others I saw. One with a plastic lawn chair knocked over and a clear plastic cup upright with some water spilled to the side but otherwise full of water lmao! | |

| I was driving up 95 to Dover when it happened, somewhere around the Hampton Tolls. I didn't really feel anything, but I swear I felt my truck swaying a little when I was on the brakes going to the tolls. Didn't know of anything until I was informed by Billy, lol. My friend in Deerfield told me it shook his whole house for what seemed like 30 seconds, and his house is right on bedrock, to the point that there is a huge rock outcropping in the basement. My dad told me he felt nothing at all, down in in MA. | |

| My buddy and I were in his driveway (two streets away from my house) and we felt nothing. Then all of his neighbors came outside and his dad came out asking if we were ok and did we feel the earthquake. We had no idea what was happening! | |

| I've heard mixed reviews. Seems like most people indoors felt it. | |

| Felt it here. 1st one I ever felt actually. Was like a big chopper was hovering out back for a few seconds.. I was busy laughing...my wife went into mama bear mode checking on the kids. She then made me re-state our hurricane/now earthquake huddling point in the house. No signs of it after. | |

| I was standing out side in the shanty village part of nashua where I reside and could here the house's vibrate for about 15 seconds, my dog was freeked out, never seen her run and hide before. Of course my neighbors were doped out, so one of them went looney and screamed it's the end of the world, smashed a bunch of car windows , ripped his shirt off and took off running | |

Same thing I thought. I figured it was just another of the big jets taking off in Manchester, since my work is so close to the airport.

2nd one I have felt. I too felt like it was either the washing machine unbalanced or a helicopter going over, not much more than that. Funny how the dog knew something weird was going on, and she didn't back down about it for quite some time after, you could see she was nervous and in protection mode because she did not know what it was. The last one was probably about a year ago or so, I was standing up in my store and almost had to catch a 500 exhaust system that was trying to jump off the wall. I assume I felt it much more the last time because our entire building at work is concrete, probably less "giving" to the shaking.
