Resurection of the 1A2 Empty
PostSubject: Resurection of the 1A2   Resurection of the 1A2 EmptyTue Jul 07, 2015 4:11 pm

The poor 1A2 , ailed with multiple problems sat dormant for the last 7-8 months.

It started with a healthy misfire, so it got a new opti, plugs and wires.

Then followed by a fuel leak by the tank Rolling Eyes . End of the lines at the sender rotted.

So if your going to do it, do it all.

Pulled the tank, and replaced it, the sender, tank straps, repaired ends of the fuel lines, and installed a Walbro 255 pump.

Of course everything got liberal coats of paint, including the trunk floor ablove the tank.  Cool

Viola, no leaks, and runs like a champ again cheers

Thanks, it's getting there. Tony loves it, and refusues to let it go. He has been learning by doing a lot of the resto stuff on it himself. study
