ok, then I will put in a new bid of.............
ONE HUNDRED BILLION DOLLARS!
Seriously, though I'm thinking the fix is in. The chief probably wants the car. I probably won't be able to get down there anyway. Plus I'm thinking Crovo might bid more than me. Suspect

How is it?? Have you seen it up close? Rusty? Clean?

And man, I was way off the map with my potential offer. $890??? Really?

Do you have to be there in person? I downloaded the pdf on my phone and scanned through it. It looks like you can mail in your offer?

I was going to bid, but it's not really something I need, so I'll sit back and watch you guys fight over it. Yes Glen, I'm selling the car. No, Steve I'm NOT selling the suspension. tongue

I have never been to an auction like this before, how does the bidding work at these? Like lets say I bid $1000 and the guy before me bid $800, do I win at my actual bid or is it a set increment like $850 in that example?
At any rate, waiting to see some pics of this one!

Any of these type of "sealed bid" auctions I have attended....it is whoever bid the highest, wins at the bid they placed.

Example, there are only two bids....one for 400 one for 1000.....the guy who bid the 1k, pays the 1k.

From what Brian said about the non-blown motor...
You never know if there could be an attempt at a bag job here.
But now.... some of you are on it....as the spoilers so to speak.

Wondering if the results are announced (posted)?
I didnt read up on the auction.

Dave...No it doesnt work like EBAY
