Just picked this bad boy up for a cool $800!

1936 Chevy sedan. Pretty much complete. Missing the dash (cuz some mutha cut it out)
Frame was sand blasted and sealed painted, original I6 engine is there, trans, interior, etc,

Would love to stuff an lt1 in this, it's got that kinda feel to me. Lt1 would look stupid in a 32 ford, but this has the right body/fender ratio, Smile
For now it's getting Anthony (laidlow91's) 305 and 700r4.

^^^ seems to be what's trending Justin. Indigo, I'm diggin' this new project! I bet you could sell off the old drive train to fund some of the upcoming parts list. Tell us dome more about it. Let's see under the hood, open the doors up etc.

I know I know. I'm just as bad. But majority of the time I end up with something better the the previous, AND at least I stay within a specific genre. Razz

Will take some more pics tomorrow and post em. This is really not that much of a basketcase, once the black caddy is closer to being completed I'll start tinkering with this.

It's all there and the brakes and frame have all been rebuilt, the steering is there and works as well. I would LOVE to drip it in a s10 frame and be done with it. But I kinda like the I-beam axle and originality. Too early to tell.. but its Definitely gonna be something creepy when finished.
PICS tomorrow!!!!

That thing is the balls. If you go s10 you can do the blazer big brakes and 4 wheel disc setup. You stole that thing!

I'm glad you said that cuz my 1st thought was OMG what a TON of work
Then....I went back & it appears your reasonably solid down to the running boards (assuming thats what those are supposed to be Smile ).
No offense, I just never cared enough about the older models to learn anything about them

Funny. That never stopped you from renting one, or buying a truck to pull one. Wink

I heard the only reason you dont have one is because NH DOT would require you to show a pilots license.

I had my suspicions about this car and I was right, it's actually a 1936 chevy not a 38.
Here's some more pics.

I do have the intake too it was in the back seat.

That last picture is AWESOME! I love the rusty plate and I love the tail light! Can't wait to see what you do with it. Try not to sell it before you finish Laughing
