Anyone ever have brown spots show up on the dash of their car?

Never had them up until today, car sits in the sun daily, bam, got spots in areas on the dash?

All purpose wont clean it.

So , what should I use for a dye on the dash pad.?

Typical SS grey dash color too.

I don't know the code but I'd use SEM. You might be able to clean that off carefully, I've used 303, which you should probably use anyway, to mask things like that. Very Happy

Brown spots = Very common. Try soft scrub before resorting to dye,

Does anyone think that discoloration comes from using stuff like Armor All, or just not doing anything to the dash pad?

In my brother's RMS with the grey dash, it had the brown discoloration, but somehow I got most of it off for him, I just forget what I did! Then I went over it with that 303 Protectant stuff and it kinda disappeared. scratch

Arrow .....

... or a grey scuff pad with light pressure and any all purpose cleaner.

... If you do dye it..... go with SEM.

I had brown spots on the dash face of my Fleetwood near the passenger side vent and headlight switch. I cleaned them off with purple power and a terrycloth towel. A year later, they are surfacing again. I think it's time I do another thorough cleaning. I spent about 6 hours in the interior last time.

Those Magic Erasers are unbelievable. Forgot to mention them, they did wonders on the interior of my truck, including the leather seats and the headliner.
