| Now that most active members know, might as well show it off. Let me start off by saying the following: Yes I still have my two door. No I will not just slam it together and drive it. Yes it is in a container at a secret squirrel location. No I can't afford the body work right now. Yes it will get done, probably in a couple more years. No I still wont LS swap it. Now, let me introduce you to the car I bought to cheer myself up. After years of limping my cougar while building up my tools and paying for tech school. Ditching that when I scored big on my truck, buying a Honda to beat around in and eventually flip for almost triple what I paid, and STILL saving up in a separate fund for the body work to do the caprice the RIGHT way ONCE... I caved. I needed something that fit the club. About a month after I sold the honda I remembered I had a body shop appt to get the rockers and cab corners done on my truck and said crap what am I gonna drive? I looked at an 84 caddy, 72 caddy, thoughts of motorcycles came and went. then I saw this, asked the owner about it and offered him a fair price (not a deal or a score, but fair) drove out with my trailer and brought it home. Probably one of the best cars I have ever had. The thing is clean! I have already racked up the miles, it had 141xxx when I got it now its at 148 and change. So nearly 8K in four months. I'm more than happy with it. Tons of power, triple black, all the options I'd need. All I've done so far is plugs and wires and a radiator, it cracked once it got warm out. I have to pick up a part from Indy at some point, still need to coordinate that so I can choose my damn heat zone, but other than that it's stock. It needs more low... So the caprice will eventually get coilovers and the caddy can have the bilstiens and SS springs! It even ran a 15.86 a few weeks back! Hell yeah! Best of all, it's a Cadillac! | |

Tom Negative, just something I found while trolling CL at lunch! Thanks for all the kind words guys. Really liking the whole LT1 in a boat thing. Hopefully I can contain myself from dumping oodles of cash into it lol. Next club event she'll make an appearance.

Tom Remember WAAAYYY back when he drove an 84twodoor? Urban myth! LOL yeah that was a long time ago... it was an 87 though, the 84 never had plates on it when I owned it. I still have my truck, but the cougar has been gone for a while. put the front end loader bucket through the roof last year and backed it off the trailer at the junkyard. long gone and crushed now. The FWB is MUCH nicer than the cougar. Plus, now I have a car to drive and can focus on something a little more over the top for the caprice

| Very nice. and I did not see a year posted, but based on the 1/4 mile times, and mirrors, it must be a 94. | |

LOL very good deductive reasoning! Yes, it is a 94. I hate those damn mirrors.
