| I'm not sure, now that you are on the subject about tranny fluid, does anyone know if royal purple make tranny fluid? Or recommend a fluid for my soon to be rebuilt 4L60E. | |

Mr crovo can answer the question about T56 fluid. Royal purple does make tranny fluid. But Shane from CPT transmissions who specializes in 4L60Es told me to just use autozone dextron auto tranny fluid. |

| I've not had good luck with synthetic tranny fluids. But I've only tried them in the T56. Made it very notchy and hard to shift. Musta been TOO slippery. I'd go with regular (X brand) dino oil. Maybe a semi-synthetic if you want... Most importantly, run what your builder says to. | |
