| was working fine this morning and in the middle of the drive it suddenly leapt over to way past full... ugh, wtf. If there's one thing I need on this car, it's to know how much gas I have left. Range on this car is anywhere between 180miles and 300 miles depending on my driving habits | |

My fleetwood was getting such poor fuel milage before the tunup that I did not bother to check it, but since it gets 19.8 combined. I get around 400-415 miles out of a tank.

it's just had a tuneup (plugs, wires, Opti) Sometimes I'll go a whole tank just doing 1 mile trips... so gas mileage is crappy with that. Someone mentioned I probably need to do my intake manifold gasket. The car stinks of running rich I'm gonna top the tank off and see what happens. sucks, because my AC compressor died, so I gotta pay to get that fixed (I can't evacuate it and recharge it myself) Sending unit looks to be $150 and everyone says to do the pump at the same time, so that's another $80. And my next free weekend isn't until the 2nd weekend in August.... grrrrrrr

Got it down to 20 minutes... Also, heres a rundown on how to drop a wagon tank. http://gmlongroof.4umer.com/t1426-write-up-on-how-to-drop-your-tank

| Less interwebbing, more dropping of the tank. Seriously. It's very easy. | |

| I never look at the gas gauges on these cars. They are horribly inaccurate. Just use your trip. Fill it at 275-300 and you'll be fine. I have a fairly heavy foot, and a 50-50 mix of backroads/highway get me about 300 miles to the tank. In just about everything I own. lol | |

Mine is accurate... it goes right past the exact level while it's swinging from Full to Empty and back to Full again.

| Something must be wrong with my Fleetwood because the mileage is horrible. I def dont get near 300 per tank. | |

that's not happening. I'm working 5am to 8pm for the next few months. I get home at 9 and wake up at 4... so eff that noise. interestingly over the past few days, the needle has been going from working to totally not working... like if I accelerate too much it gets stuck... but if I jam on the brakes it comes unstuck... but not always. at this point I'll just fuel it up once I hit 150miles the other day the god damned trip odometer locked up trying to roll over 10...
