Help with 94-96 gas lines Empty
PostSubject: Help with 94-96 gas lines   Help with 94-96 gas lines EmptyWed May 23, 2012 7:54 pm

So I was under the 95 the other day doing exhaust and came across a broken vent line for the gas tank.
Right as it's going up the frame arch to the tank, looks like it was squashed flat and then burst out the side....
Noticed while I was welding Shocked

Obviously I'd like to try and fix it, but my question is more this:

Will this broken line cause any kind of performance issues? High idle, Surging, etc etc?
I seem to have a pretty fast idle In the 4.3 (at least compared to the caddy's lt1).

Any ideas or thoughts on both issues?

Just put a patch piece in & clamp it.

Well it is gas vapor....welding might be dramatic Shocked
